Our staff are our most valuable resource and we invest in them to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to be Amazing People for our clients.

Our security personnel will take part in days of training over and above the statutory minimum; on one contract a total of 21 days training before they can start work. 

Our cleaners will work with a range of potentially dangerous chemicals and powered equipment.  For each product or piece of equipment there will be a training course, and a test to verify their learning.  That way we know they will be able to work safe as well as working smart for you.

Our retail support staff spend hours training so that they understand the complex planograms they will use at work.  Meanwhile their colleagues in our interiors business are often using skills they learned as apprentice carpenters and joiners.

We are proud to deliver most of our training in-house, to a standard so high we actually provide training to clients.  However, we also use external expertise to ensure our people receive the best training there is.

The wide range of services we provide means that we work with a range of external training bodies including Skills for Security, the British Institute of Cleaning Science, NEBOSH, the National Association of Shopfitters, the Institute of Customer Service and RoSPA, to name just a few.

Our efforts in developing our people has been recognised by Investors in People who not just simply accredited us, but who have given us their Bronze Award, a rare accolade in our business sector.

Our Amazing People deserve, and get, amazing support from their colleagues and from the management team.  Each part of the business has its own on-line community which keeps everyone informed of what is going on, and more importantly keeps them engaged.

To add to this there is a regular newsletter which is available to everyone either electronically or in hard copy.  There are also regular “SpeakUp” employee forums, which allow our staff to voice their views to senior management.  Regardless of whether a person is a director, manager or a frontline operative, we believe that they are all Amazing People, and we do all we can to ensure that everyone is kept in the loop.
