It was the Carlisle Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony on 25th January which was focused on providing everybody with an overview of the past year and what plans are in place for the year ahead.
It was also, and most importantly, focused on celebrating the great work that all of our employees have achieved over the past year.
We would like to offer a huge well done to Chris Gibbs for winning the Contract Manager of the Year Award.
Chris joined the company as an Area Manager in 2015 with no previous experience of the transport or cleaning industry and had many challenges to overcome from the very start. After just five short weeks working on his first contract, the contract manager at the time unfortunately had to leave unexpectedly, leaving Chris to pick up the day-to-day contract requirements and client liaison.
Chris took this challenge head on and successfully juggled dual roles for a significant period of time, until he was officially appointed Contract Manager in April 2016, just eight months after joining the company!
This challenging start did not faze him and he has gone from strength to strength building great relationships and improving the contract significantly in such a short space of time.
Well done Chris and thank you for all your hard work throughout the year.
