Maternity Cover - 1 year Fixed Term

Location - Ideally positioned between Luton & Birmingham - min 2 days a week at Luton HQ

Monday to Friday - 40 hours

Salary - £25,000

Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, this role will be responsible for all on-going employee engagement activities, including but not limited to:

  • On-boarding employee check-ups and sign offs
  • Exit interviews
  • Employee Portal take up and management
  • Employee 1-2-1 feedback and management
  • Employee pay queries (unresolved)
  • Holiday management and liaison
  • Twice yearly employee engagement surveys
  • Management reporting and feedback on engagement
  • Field visits to on-site teams where applicable and directed

The key measurements of this role will be:

  • Number of open employee queries / average time taken to resolve queries
  • Net Promoter Score (Employee)
  • On-boarding and Exit Surveys
  • Front-line Staff Turnover
  • A decline in complaints / grievances received by the HR Advice team

Person specification:

  • Ability to use initiative - the role is in its infancy and will require creativity & resourcefulness to drive the role forward
  • The ability to collate & analyse large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels
  • Willingness to travel nationally when required
