Mobile Cleaning Operative - Station Cleaner (Clacton-On-Sea)
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Shift pattern: 5 days per week (including regular weekends and occasional night work)
Rate of pay: £9.50
Carlisle Support Services are seeking a Mobile Cleaning Operative to support a high profile contract and enable us to deliver a first class cleaning service across various locations in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
To ensure cleaning and hygiene standards are delivered in accordance to the cleaning specification to enable Greater Anglia to meet their commitments to the DfT and travelling public.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will form part of a team of specialist cleaners. Working with a partner this operative will visit and clean various stations across the Greater Anglia network, using cleaning machines and specialist techniques. Shift patterns will include weekends and occasional nights.
Expectations: Must be a team player and have strong customer service skills as will be working across multiple locations meeting a variety of GA staff and passengers.
Training: Full training will be given. Along with PTS certificate, other specialist course training available. Training costs paid for by the company.
Qualifications and Experience
- Essential Requirements: This is a physical role so being fit and healthy is a must. Duties are varied so at times may be quite light and easy such as cleaning signage, but on other occasions more physically demanding such as jet washing. Must be prepared to work towards achieving Personal Track Safety (PTS) certificate. This will require a standard of English needed to complete online learning and pass practical assessments. Full clean driving licence is essential. (Car/Van offered).
