Carlisle has an exciting new opportunity for 2 x Recruitment Consultants to look after the following sectors of our business. You will report into Director of Operations.

1 - Security & Events 2 - Retail

Purpose of the Role:

To ensure the Security and Events South operation has a pool of skilled core and relief personnel across it's the Southern Region. Support the fulfilment of manned guarding contracts, major sporting events and adhoc security projects through the design and implementation of recruitment process that exceeds the demands of a dynamic and time critical market.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

  • Identify and regional recruitment targets
  • Develop demand planner in line with operational needs
  • Develop frameworks and channels for the recruitment of specialist SIA and stewarding personnel

Recruitment Pipeline

  • Develop multiple channels for candidate attraction
  • Manage social media tools to attract and communicate with candidates
  • Quickly respond to incoming expressions of interest to work with Carlisle
  • Ensure information on all stages is up to date and in line with legislation

Recruitment Process

  • Manage all attraction activity and job ads, ensuring best fit to job requirement
  • Activity target personnel that would fit contract requirements
  • Deliver first stage sifting process
  • Maintain all candidate recruitment portals
  • Complete first stage phone screening
  • Facilitate interviews and inductions UK wide delivered by Operations team
  • On occasion support interviews and inductions
  • Design and implement recruitment and induction process
  • Ensure legislative compliance
  • Manage new starters through Vetting process and where needed SC clearance, including liason with client
  • Ensure candidates are kept up to date and informed
  • Ensure all candidates receive all new starter information

Internal Stakeholders

  • Work closely with Operations team and develop 'customer/supplier' relationship
  • Ensure strong relationships with HR and Ops Support team

Reporting

  • Weekly progress updates to include data on pipeline stages
  • Cost to recruit details, including cost per head
  • Progress on agreed promises

KPI's

  • Reduction of sub-contractor usage across division
  • Evidence of new starters v targets
  • 100% compliance to legislation and internal targets
