Cleaning Team Leader

Rate of Pay - £9.75 per hour

Hours - 37.5 per week

Shifts - Working a 5 night on ,2 night off on rota

Location - Bletchley, Milton Keynes

Holiday - Statutory accrued in line with hours worked

Essential - Rail sector experience preferred , Along with in-date PTS card.

Job Role

To support the supervisor with delivering the cleaning plan by the best utilisation of facilities and labour resource to ensure Customer requirements, Quality Standards and company profitability are achieved. Report and make recommendations regarding staff levels and working arrangements. Identify opportunities to improve cleaning processes and thus achieve customer expectations Duties of the Cleaning Team Leader: * Lead, support and motivate the cleaning staff to ensure an efficient cleaning process is achieved in accordance with specifications. Provide advice, guidance and instruction to staff as necessary. * Identify opportunities to improve the quality efficiency and safety of the cleaning output, and act as a focal point for the implementation of these changes. * Ensure compliance with site safety requirements in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act, appropriate legislation and regulations

1 To ensure all cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with the work package plan in a timely manner.

2 Record all work delivered in accordance with the processes and procedures stipulated by contract management.

3 Record attendance on site using the Carlisle's Time & Attendance system

4 Maintenance and care of all equipment, ensuring all equipment is maintained in a safe working condition and report any equipment faults.

5 To lead by example, so that the company image and profile is maintained at all times.

6 Wear all PPE that is issued for tasks to be delivered and report any loss of PPE in a timely manner.

7 To comply with all company Health & Safety Guidelines and continually review practices to ensure breaches not occur.

8 To be aware of the correct usage and concentration of the various chemicals cleaning agents and the correct application of these products to ensure effective results in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines.

9 To carry out any reasonable task requested by the Supervisor, Contract Manager, or client.

10 To act as an ambassador for Carlisle on site dealing in a professional/business-like manner with all requests from the client.

11 Comply with all rail safety regulations and be able to make an "Emergency Call" to a signaller if required.

12 Ensure that actions do not endanger either individuals or the environment.
