What you'll do:

You will have a chance to create your own security strategy alongside the customer and will lead a team of Duty Managers, supported by an Administrator and Operations Manager.

We are looking for an exceptional Contract Manager who will ensure Carlisle Support Services successfully deliver on its contractual operational targets for site security, whilst ensuring full compliance to customer's terms of business, service level agreements (SLA's), health and safety requirements and legislation associated with the delivery of this service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and deliver an operation in line with the values and brands of our client
  • Ensure service levels delivered adhere to our contract terms and client SLA's
  • Ensure best practice processes by developing a team of motivated and highly trained personnel
  • Ensure sufficient levels of qualified and competent officers are maintained through rigorous resource planning and recruitment plans
  • Identify and introduce improvements to service delivery that enhances customer satisfaction
  • Complete regular audits across the contract to ensure contract and legal compliance
  • Communicate Health and Safety processes and policies to all staff and ensure they remain trained including contract specific training
  • Direct, monitor and develop staff performance via an effective review process
  • Create a positive environment and culture where employees choose to work
  • Management of the contract P&L to deliver profits in line with or exceeding budget
  • Attend weekly meetings with client Security team and develop proactive working relationships
  • Establish and encourage relationships with key client stakeholders and the local community
  • Conduct regular Health and Safety training audits and toolbox talks

What you'll need:

Essential:

  • SIA Licence and excellent understanding of the UK Security industry
  • Knowledge and experience of running large event operations
  • Knowledge and experience of dealing with physical and electronic security methods and measures
  • Excellent communication skills - articulate and focussed, proficient written skills, good listener
  • People management skills, able to motivate and optimise outputs from team members
  • Strong commercial skills with the ability to understand a P&L and consistently deliver against budget
  • Good organisational skills and an ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility around working hours and patterns

Desirable:

  • Similar event venue experience
  • Experience of undertaking counter-terrorist risk assessments
