Job Title: Cleaning Area Manager
Salary: £40,000PA + Company Car, optional health plan & employee benefits
Hours of work: Nights, 21:00 - 05:00, Monday to Friday
Duration: 4 weeks, with the potential of a permanent role
Requirements: Full UK driving license + Right to work in the UK

Description of the Role
Carlisle are seeking a Contract Manager to supervise and manage all aspects of cleaning and soft services to multiple sites across the Crewe, Coventry, Birmingham, Northampton, and Bletchley regions.
We encourage our Contract Managers to run their accounts like their own business, with the added support from our team at Head Office and mentoring from higher management within the organisation.
Health and safety duty holder
a. Promotion of a safe working culture
b. Ensuring all Operatives hold the relevant qualifications for the roles they undertake
c. Ensuring all activities that require an isolation or a possession are risk assessed and approved
d. Ensure compliance with the companies and client's health and safety policies.
Quality and Service Delivery Management
a. Ensure all duties and tasks are undertaken by relevant staff according to the clients needs
b. Ensure all staff are reporting any other jobs, issues or observations to the Area manager to ensure full care and compliance with the client.
a. Ensure the all hours are recorded on the company's time and attendance system
b. Management of the consumable and isolations and possession budgets.
a. Conduct 1-2-1 meetings with direct line reports
b. Ensure all staff are trained and inducted on all sites
c. Conduct investigation and disciplinary meetings when necessary
d. Ensure the Management Team on the contract are compliant with the company's recruitment polices.
5. Account Management and Development
a. Ensure that all reports are submitted within the agreed timescales
b. Ensure the company is represented at all client and stakeholder meetings.
a. Works on ad-hoc projects and tasks when required to meet the demands of the business.
· A proven track record of managing an industrial workforce
· Proven ability to produce and manage budgets, generate a forecast and implement cost saving measures
· Evidence of promoting a culture of health and safety compliance
· A verifiable record of account management
Qualifications / Skills
· Full UK Driving Licence
· GCSE / A level educated
· NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
· Sentinel Personal Track Safety (AC).
