Carlisle Support Services is currently recruiting Customer Service Agents for a unique rail contract in Folkestone, Dover. requires excellent communication skills (spoken and written) and customer service as well as the highest standards of personal presentation.

Main Role:

Your role will be to allocate the vehicles to the appropriate lane, covering various positions in the lanes and provide customer service to all the passengers in a face to face environment.

Summary Details:

Job Title: Customer Service Agent

Pay Rate: £9.10 per hour

Variable Shift's: Early | Lates | Nights - 24 hour running operation

Duties & Responsibilities:

Control Traffic into passenger allocation lanes

Control Traffic separation into single or double deck vehicles

Liaise with the different teams for the timely release of traffic

Redirect traffic to maximise loading

Ensure passenger traffic flows into in and out of the car park

Control Vehicles with the correct hangers

Direct passengers to a suitable parking bay and advise them of the correct time they may proceed to the boarding area

Ensure that all personnel assigned to this contract are strictly adhering to the statutory obligations contained within Health and Safety at Work legislation.

Attend training and development programmes as determined by the Director of Operation & Group Training manager

Person Specifications:

Good timekeeping & attendance

Great attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively, must be a team player

Communicates in open and honest manner

Focuses on results and aim to deliver extraordinary performance

Excellent level of both verbal and written English

Service industry experience

Always take responsibility and accountability

Physically Fit

Be able to provide proof of eligibility to work and hold an appropriate security clearance

Physical fit

Flexible to work to a shift rotation in line with a 24-hour operation.

Additional Information:

In accordance with the Working Time Regulations Act 1998 these roles are open to individuals aged 18 years and over at the time of taking up appointment due to shift working being required.

All applicants are required to pass the full medical test including Drugs & Alcohol tests.
