You are:

A Successful Operational Manager Experience in a large business(es)

What you'll do:

To ensure the delivery of all client Events through the recruitment of a good standard of personnel, management of client bookings, positive client relationships and delivery on Event day through a robust operational plan

Your Essential Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to these core elements:

  • Lead all non core event operations
  • Create operational schedule based on client calendar
  • Build rostering plan for all levels of resource
  • Work with resourcer ensure all events are covered with right calibre of personnel
  • Line manage events Supervisors, including quarterly PR's
  • Develop operational plans for each event
  • Develop training and induction plans for all roles
  • Communicate events plan to all staff
  • Ensure sufficient support on event days- sign in etc
  • Lead Events or ensure suitable Supervisor is in place to lead
  • Support recruitment of new staff as needed
  • Ensure standards of uniform
  • Step in as overall Contract Manager when Contract Manager is on AL
  • Build a positive relationship with client, portraying progress on key focus areas
  • Keep client updated on booking progress and recruitment progress
  • Ensure full site of operating instructions in place for Events operation
  • Ensure time and attendance system is up to date
  • Prepare data for invoicing of all Events

What you'll need:

Desirable skills and competencies

  • Ideally you will have a valid SIA License.

Essential skills and competencies

  • demonstrable experience in Event Operations Management
  • Flexible to work fluid hours
  • Fast paced and works well to deadlines
  • Can lead Event Supervisor teams
  • Ability to create project costings
  • Good communicator
  • Works well under pressure
  • Good understanding of Crowd Management
