HR Advisor (Maternity Cover)
Location - Luton Head Office
Hours - 40 per week Mon to Fri
Salary - £30,000 to £33,000 depending on experience

We are currently looking for an experienced HR Advisor to provide customer focussed, responsive, accurate and pragmatic advice and support to our managers, in line with company policies, internal procedures and legal requirements. The HR Advisor will act as an "ambassador" of the company, working in line with our key values to deliver an effective advisory service covering a range of employment and employee relations matters.
Reporting to the Head of HR Operations you will manage a demanding caseload, and support managers with a wide range of employee relations issues including sickness absence, redundancy, TUPE, disciplinary and grievance issues from investigation to outcome. You will also play an important role in coaching and upskilling our managers, and you will support the Head of HR Operations with ad hoc projects when required to meet the demands of the business.
The ideal candidate will be patient and adaptable, with a strong background in employee relations and a solid understanding of employment legislation and best practice. You will work well under pressure, and have the proven ability to work with different levels of employees, from front-line operatives to the CEO. You will be passionate and driven, with the ability to prioritise your workload. You will display strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be confident in your knowledge and experience, and ready to come on board and hit the ground running with minimal training.
