You are:

An experienced Mobilisation Manager or Project Manager, ideally with experience of working within the FM/Soft Services sector in managerial & operational roles. You're agile and able to quickly assess needs, create and manage plans, progressing projects to achieve goals in line with agreed timescales, without compromising on quality or compliance. You balance customer needs with business goals, and you know how to deliver a service that will enhance business value and improve efficiencies. What you'll do:

Our Security and Events division provides bespoke people-based services to a range of high-profile customers across the UK and we are looking for a mobilisation / project manager to implement a new client win in London SE1.

This is a four to six-month contract, and due to its high profile you will be reporting directly into the Divisional MD, and working with the wider operational and central teams to deliver a first-class mobilisation and successfully deliver transition of the site security contract from the incumbent provider to Carlisle Support Services.

You will be the main point of contact for the client and staff transferring into the business, leading all aspects of mobilisation of the contract, ensuring that the mobilisation is delivered on time and with minimal disruption, ensuring all new processes and procedures are understood and embedded. There is potential for this role to transition into a permanent Contract Manager position, should this be of interest.

Your Essential Responsibilities will involve these core elements:

  • Lead the TUPE process working with the HR team to ensure all staff are TUPED into Carlisle Support Services before the Go Live date and ensuring all information around Contracts of Employment are known.
  • To lead a positive PR campaign with all transferring staff to ensure Carlisle is seen in a positive light.
  • Lead onboarding of new starters for Go Live
  • Lead review of working practices and propose possible change management
  • To understand all roles within the operation and ensure coverage from the Go Live date
  • To oversee the setup of our T&A system including rostering for the first 4 weeks.
  • To engage with all incoming management staff and ensure they are onboard with the Carlisle processes.
  • To lead the development all AI's/RA' and SOPS, working the HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality and the Environment) Manager to ensure they reflect the operation.
  • To oversee the process of scoping and ordering uniform and equipment
  • To act as main point of contact with the client and all stakeholders
  • To provide a weekly report on progress v milestones

What you'll need:

  • To be a SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence holder - preferrable but not essential
  • Previous experience of TUPE activities
  • A good knowledge of security operations
  • Strong communication skills
  • A level-headed and pragmatic approach
  • Ability to lead diverse teams which are not direct reports
  • A passion for great service and flexible approach to work
  • Strong commercial business acumen
  • Financial Awareness that enables full understanding and working with budget, P&L
  • Passionate in ensuring service delivery
  • Disciplined in applying and working with processes, strong organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a proven collaborator
  • IT Skills - computer literate and able to use of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
