Carlisle Support Services are seeking a Receptionist & Administrator for our client Jaguar Land rover.

Reception supplies front of house Customer First services to all Jaguar Land Rover Customers, Visitors, employees and non-employees based across all JLR Sites.

The Receptionist will be required to be fully mobile - flexible to cover Mercia Site Swadlincote (as determined by the business) during the course of employment and will require flexibility on the day to meet operational requirements.

44 hours per week -

Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00

Friday - 07:00 - 15:00

Requirements:

  • Applicants must hold a full driving licence, including own transport as driving is an essential part of the role requirement
  • Ability to complete Online Training
  • Ability to work - travel across multiple sites, adapt to new environments, systems and methods of working

Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Security experience beneficial
  • Customer Service
  • Switchboard
  • Administration
  • Computer - IT skills
  • Organisation

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • To always provide and deliver a Customer First Reception experience
  • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks effectively
  • Ability to work well with different kinds of people
  • Managing and maintaining various databases, spread sheets & OneDrive documents
  • Processing vehicle passes and adding to database
  • To arrange/book meeting rooms via calendar bookings within the department including the creation of repeated events and one-off occurrences
  • To become conversant with the Access Control procedure, ensuring consistent adoption across JLR to comply with JLR Corporate policy
  • To work with the Corporate Security & Business Protection Access Control Team Issuing ID cards, programming, assigning of access, review and de-activation of ID cards in accordance with the JLR Access Control Policy
  • To prevent unauthorised access by previously authorised employees, ensure that audits of all restricted areas are conducted at the appropriate times in line with the JLR Access Control Policy
  • Running reports
