You are:

The Site Security Manager that holds a pivotal role in overseeing and advancing the on-site security team. Collaborating closely with the client, you'll champion innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring robust team resilience and capabilities, you'll craft a comprehensive training and development plan to ensure staff compliance while fostering their ongoing growth. Your profound understanding of the security sector, technology, and the local community will be instrumental in the delivery of outstanding service.

What you'll do:

  • Uphold service levels aligned with contract terms and client SLAs.
  • Safeguard client personnel, assets, brand, and profit through best practice processes and a skilled, motivated team.
  • Maintain adequate levels of qualified officers to meet current and future personnel demands.
  • Exceed stakeholder expectations, adjusting services as required.
  • Support site operational needs by leading and developing Security, ensuring their readiness, training, and effectiveness.
  • Manage scheduling, Time and Attendance records, and plan holidays up to 6 months in advance.
  • Conduct monthly site audits to ensure audit compliance and proper documentation.
  • Oversee team performance through the 1-1 process, conduct investigations, and manage disciplinary actions.
  • Organize specialized and educational training, including contractual requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and ISO 9002 requirements, maintaining up-to-date controls. Develop a comprehensive understanding of all departmental operational functions.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Ensure officers adhere to the Private Security Industry Act 2001, including licensing, training, and safeguarding screening.
  • Establish, communicate, and ensure safe work procedures, conducting regular risk assessments and security reviews.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure contract and legal compliance, rectifying and reporting non-compliance.
  • Communicate Health and Safety processes and policies, ensuring adequate training and PPE.
  • Manage uniform stock, including on-site backup holdings.
  • Prepare monthly financial data for invoicing ahead of client issues.
  • Deliver monthly KPI packs for client reviews.
  • Conduct documented Health and Safety training audits and toolbox talks.

What you'll need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in written communication, including reports, letters, and emails.
  • Ability to navigate differing personalities and leadership styles, building effective customer and team relationships.
  • Practical, hands-on leadership experience and problem-solving skills.
  • Possession of an SIA Guarding License.
  • Full UK Driving License.
