Job Overview:
Carlisle is currently seeking a motivated and proactive Operations Supervisor to support the Contract Manager in managing our operations team. It is a full-time position with an immediate start - 5 days out of 7 various shifts including weekends and nights.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As an Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Motivating and supporting site staff to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Managing day-to-day service provision to the client, meeting contractual standards.
- Developing strong working relationships with all client representatives.
- Issuing uniforms and setting presentation standards for new starters.
- Monitoring staff performance, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Conducting frequent inspections, compiling reports, and maintaining service delivery standards.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, policies, and legal requirements.
- Managing staff training and development, including succession plans.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and implementing action plans to improve standards.
- Travelling within contract area to provide support to front-line teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- SIA Licence
- Basic DBS
- Driving Licence - Must hold Full UK Driving Licence with at least two-year experience and no more than 6 penalty points
- Positive, motivated leader with a passion for excellent customer service.
- Proactive thinker with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
- Experience in effectively leading and training teams of at least 20 people.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills (GSCE Grade C or above).
- Commercially aware with competent IT skills, including MS-Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Physical capability to carry a 10kg weight and lift a waste sack from the floor into a van.
- Ability to raise hands above head height for cleaning tasks.
