Paul Evans - CEO

Chief Executive Officer

Joining Carlisle Support Services in 2015 as Managing Director, and promoted to CEO in January 2019, Paul has overseen the transformation of the business across more recent times. With a career spanning the last two decades in the facilities management sector, and having worked his way up from the front-line, he is extremely passionate about making sure our business strategy remains aligned to our employee-led and customer-centric values.

As CEO, Paul leads our experienced senior team at Carlisle, and we are very proud to have an enviable portfolio of many of the UK’s leading brands and organisations. An operational and commercially focused leader, Paul ensures that Carlisle continues to deliver on their commitment to being the industry’s ‘most trusted partner’, which it does by being completely transparent and honest in all that it does.  

Michael Shirt - Finance Director

Finance Director

Michael Shirt was appointed as Finance Director of Carlisle in 2015 and has overseen the Finance, HR, Legal and support functions of the business during a period of rapid organic growth. He lead the demerger of Carlisle companies from the Impellam Group in March 2019.
 
Michael has over 25 years' experience as an accountant prior to joining Carlisle and started his career in private practice before progressing to roles with ACI Worldwide (banking software) and GE's Healthcare division. He has worked in the FM services sector for over 15 years.

 
Lucy Lott - Group Commercial Director

Offering expertise in organic growth through strategic customer relationships, account retention and new business acquisition with an exemplary track record in building and leading successful teams, business innovation and setting clear strategic direction at board level coupled to over twenty years of experience. With a genuine enthusiasm for the FM industry within sales and marketing, Lucy has worked in commercial positions for some of the largest organisations in the FM industry such as ISS, OCS and G4S.

Martin Woollam - Operations Director

Director of Operations - Security and Events North

Martin has been with Carlisle for over 27 years and understands all areas of our business and capabilities. He has worked across many of our clients accounts providing strategic, operational and service development expertise. As Carlisle’s Director of Operations for Security and Events (Merseyside), he has a number of Regional and Account Specific Contract Managers who report into him. 

Adrian White - Operations Director

Director of Operations - Security and Events South

Adrian has been involved in the support services sector for over 20 years, where he has built and sustained market-leading businesses in the outsourced services sector. The key focus he maintains is to see things through the eyes of the customer and front-line employees. Adrian is responsible for our Security and Events South division and has full profit and loss responsibility. He has vast experience working with a wide range of blue-chip clients and has experience across a range of sectors and service lines. Having started his career on the shop floor within the retail sector, Adrian has a natural affinity with our front-line employees and ensures he spends dedicated time with his teams. 

In his spare time, Adrian is also Chair of a Multi Academy Trust and trustee of a local charity supporting children to complete sporting activities. 

Chris Gibbs - Operations Director

Director of Operations - Cleaning, Industrial & Retail Services

Chris has only been with Carlisle for a few years but has already won Manager of the Year for his leadership of the transformation project on our London Midland cleaning contract.

Recently promoted to the Director of Operations, Chris is responsible for business leadership, commercial development and customer relationships within the cleaning, industrial and retail sectors along with profit and loss accountability at senior management level.

Paul Taylor - Head of HSQE

Paul has worked for Carlisle for over 17 years in various senior management roles both operational and back office.

As Head of HSQE Paul is responsible for managing all of our internal management systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. This involves managing all internal and external audits, accreditations and ensuring that the business complies with all statutory and legal obligations including compliance with the Private Security Industry Act 2001. Paul also heads up our Training and the Support Centre functions and has driven our H&S Culture and Operational Excellence programmes throughout the business.
