Paul Evans

Chief Executive Officer

Joining Carlisle Support Services in 2015 as Managing Director, and promoted to CEO in January 2019, Paul has overseen the transformation of the business across more recent times. With a career spanning the last two decades in the facilities management sector, and having worked his way up from the front-line, he is extremely passionate about making sure our business strategy remains aligned to our employee-led and customer-centric values.

As CEO, Paul leads our experienced senior team at Carlisle, and we are very proud to have an enviable portfolio of many of the UK’s leading brands and organisations. An operational and commercially focused leader, Paul ensures that Carlisle continues to deliver on their commitment to being the industry’s ‘most trusted partner’, which it does by being completely transparent and honest in all that it does.

In addition, Paul is also the Co-Chair of the Living Wage Foundation Recognised Service Provider’s Leadership Group, and is an Executive Officer of the National Association of Healthcare Security (NAHS).

Guy Phillips

Chief Financial Officer

Guy recently joined Carlisle Support Services as CFO to work alongside Paul Evans, the Senior Leadership Team and Non Exec’s, providing strategic financial input to support the continued growth and development of the business. An experienced finance business partner, Guy has been working within the Outsourced Services sector for over 20 years, in businesses ranging from US listed multinationals to start up ‘buy and build’ organisations.

Ten years ago Guy joined Norland Managed Services, a specialist Mechanical and Electrical FM provider as Divisional FD. Following the company’s sale to CBRE Inc three years later, he took on the role as Finance Director for the Managed Services business, overseeing the transition from a UK, entrepreneurial business to being part of highly regulated US listed business. The business continued to grow during that period from revenues of £450m in 2013, to £1.8bn in 2020.

A commercially focused financial professional he also has system and controls implementation experience, knowledge of Plc standard reporting and M&A experience.

Tom Ward

Managing Director Security and Events North

Tom has recently joined Carlisle and brings with him a strong background and experience within the security and events sectors.

Having worked with many of the larger FM companies such as Interserve and Mitie, Tom has spent the past two years as a Security Subject Matter Expert with Anabas where he has led projects to deliver effective and efficient services to clients across their portfolios.

As Managing Director for our Security and Events division in the North of the UK, Tom will provide strategic guidance and leadership to our clients, as well as forging strong links with all stakeholders.

Adrian White

Managing Director – Security and Events South

Adrian has been involved in the support services sector for over 20 years, where he has built and sustained market-leading businesses in the outsourced services sector. The key focus he maintains is to see things through the eyes of the customer and front-line employees. Adrian is responsible for our Security and Events South division and has full profit and loss responsibility. He has vast experience working with a wide range of blue-chip clients and has experience across a range of sectors and service lines. Having started his career on the shop floor within the retail sector, Adrian has a natural affinity with our front-line employees and ensures he spends dedicated time with his teams. 

In his spare time, Adrian is also Chair of a Multi Academy Trust and trustee of a local charity supporting children to complete sporting activities. 

Alex Orr

Head of Operations – Cleaning

Alex specialises in the development and delivery of cost effective cleaning and soft services solutions for our clients, in particular within the Transport sector. He has a strong and proven track record in this sector having work with a broad range of UK transport businesses on a variety of projects.

His project work is underpinned by his extensive experience and knowledge of the daily operational challengers of service operations management, having operated a significant number of contracts during his career. He has recently completed an MSc in Facilities and Environmental Management at UCL to further enhance and expand his knowledge of service operations management and the broader challenges facing the facilities management sector.

Nicole Baker

Director of Marketing and Business Development

Nicole joined Carlisle Support Services in 2016 and is responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Business Development activities. With a true passion for communicating our company mission, vision, and values, she oversees the creation and delivery of our internal and external communication and digital strategies.

To allow the bid management function to deliver, Nicole provides leadership and guidance to internal stakeholders on best practices, implementation and strategy bid development.

Suzanne Hawkins

HR Director

With 27 years of experience within the HR remit, Suzanne is a focused senior HR professional with proven experience in developing and implementing people strategies to improve business performance. With a passion for continuous development and ensuring employees are given the right channels of support in their daily roles, Suzanne impact on the implementation and TUPE process for new contracts is invaluable. 

Paul Taylor

HSQE & Support Services Director

Paul has worked for Carlisle for over 17 years in various senior management roles both operational and back office.

As Head of HSQE Paul is responsible for managing all of our internal management systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. This involves managing all internal and external audits, accreditations and ensuring that the business complies with all statutory and legal obligations including compliance with the Private Security Industry Act 2001. Paul also heads up our Training and the Support Centre functions and has driven our H&S Culture and Operational Excellence programmes throughout the business.

Joe Stone

Head of IT

Joe was appointed as Head of IT in late 2020 after progressing through the IT team during a period of growth and transition. Having originally started with Carlisle in 2012 and working in a number of roles from Retail operations and support functions, Joe joined the IT team and has since been integral in deploying a number of key systems and initiatives.

Responsible for our IT Strategy, Joe has a clear focus on ensuring technology is a facilitator for Carlisle and our customers. This includes managing relationships with all of our IT suppliers and oversight of the systems and platforms we implement internally.

In the world of sport, entertainment and one-off events we specialise in the provision of personnel, management consultancy and hospitality services that we deliver to millions of people every year.

Retail

Carlisle is the UK’s largest outsourced merchandiser. Our retail support and interiors teams work with some of the biggest names on the high street installing seasonal and promotional displays.
