Samantha Williams, Head of Payroll, may spend her days working with numbers, but her real passion is people. When Carlisle launched its “Challenge Innovation” competition, inviting colleagues to share ideas that could make a positive difference across the organisation, Samantha saw an opportunity to bring people closer together.
Her idea was simple but powerful: create a platform where employees could share their stories, talk openly about personal challenges, and raise awareness of topics that matter, particularly around wellbeing, inclusion and belonging. The concept resonated strongly with the judging panel, earning Samantha a place among the three winners selected to receive investment to turn their ideas into reality.
