As a leading provider of support services across various sectors, Carlisle aspires to lead in staff and community well-being. In doing so, we are proud to support CrimeStoppers and Mind with various activities throughout the year while also offering every Carlisle employee access to one CSR paid day a year to support a charity or volunteering activity.
Mind
Following an internal vote in early 2024, we committed to supporting the mental health charity, Mind, for the years ahead, affirming our commitment to mental health awareness and support for both staff and the broader community, underscoring the critical importance of mental well-being in today’s world.
Mind responded to 130,973 queries to our support and information helplines
Crimestoppers
Crimestoppers is an independent charity that gives people the power to speak up and stop crime – 100% anonymously. As a result of their actions:
- More than 145,000 suspects have been arrested
- Over £140m worth of goods have been recovered
- And more than £347m worth of drugs have been seized
They have been our corporate charity since the start of 2020, with employees organising regular fundraisers across the UK.
