Following its huge success in February 2024, we are pleased to announce that the Innovation Lab and Annual Superstar Awards are returning on Thursday 27th March 2025 at Excel London. Bigger and better than ever before, not only is the upcoming event featuring its own dedicated website, but it is also due to be the first-ever Carbon Neutral Innovation Lab, expecting over 700 delegates in attendance.
We are delighted to announce Neutral Carbon Zone as the event’s sustainability partner, whom we will be working with closely to make this a Carbon Neutral event. With their support, we will be accurately measuring all our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, in line with international standards, for the whole event and operations. Using these figures as a baseline, we will then also be in a strong position to establish targeted carbon reduction measures that we can implement and assess year-on-year.
Similar to previous years, the Innovation Lab promises to deliver a day of solution exploration, professional development, and peer-to-peer networking to challenge the status quo and help delegates gain tangible strategies that help future-proof their organisations.
Over the coming weeks, we will be announcing the speakers that will take to the stage to discuss the latest trends, innovations, and the changing landscapes within the Cleaning, Security and Events and facilities management sectors.
With Innovation taking centre stage at this event, our contracts have been encouraged to “Challenge Innovation” and bring forward new ideas to implement within the day-to-day operations. On the day of the event, delegates will be able to watch the final five presentations of such innovation proposals, all seeking an investment of up to £50,000 from Carlisle Support Services.
Challenge Innovation is a new initiative which will see the business invest £50,000 in up to three contracts or support functions to drive innovation in the chosen area of their contract. This competition is open to Support Functions and Operations, with any submissions from Operations made by the Contract Manager. This is also open to front-line staff who can collaborate with Contract Managers to develop a proposal. We will be accepting submissions until Friday 17th January 2025, which starts the beginning of the proposal evaluation with our shortlisted final five announced on Friday 31st January.
After a period of deliberation on the day, our panel of judges will make their decision on how to divide the investment, with this decision being announced during the Annual Superstar Awards Ceremony, held on the evening of the Innovation Lab. This is a night of glitz and glam as we bring together our support functions and operation teams, clients and industry stakeholders for a night of celebration as we recognise the achievements of our teams. Over the course of the night, we will also discover the winners of our six categories:
