Taking place from Monday 24th to Sunday 30th June, this industry led initiative aims to bring rail safety to the forefront of people’s minds across a dedicated week; keeping safety firmly in the spotlight and sharing ideas and best practice for both industry colleagues and passengers.
As a partner of the Rail Forum, we are pleased to kick off this week-long initiative by sponsoring their RSW conference entitled Driving Improvement in Health & Safety – People & Process taking place in Manchester on Monday 24th June.
Subsequently, we are proud to host a special webinar dedicated to promoting industry best practice to further support collaborative efforts and ensure the safety and well-being of all rail passengers and workers. Entitled Enhancing Safety: Strategies for Railway Security and Emergency Preparedness, the webinar will be hosted by our Director of Counter Terrorism & Risk on Wednesday 26th June at 10am.
This webinar will discuss the importance of planning and strategising to ensure the safety of passengers, staff and the public whilst using the network and the importance of the key procedures required to keep commuters safe and threat methodology.
