Carlisle Support Services is happy to share the attendance of two front-line staff members at the Security Industry Authority (SIA) 20th-anniversary Reception event taking place at the House of Lords in July. This prestigious event will bring together the security industry and outstanding front-line operatives during an afternoon reception as the SIA recognises their achievements in the line of duty.
The SIA will use this reception to highlight key real-life stories of license holders, showcasing operatives’ experiences, and the challenges and triumphs that they face whilst on duty. Each story from the invited officers shows how important security roles are for public safety and customer service.
Held in the esteemed House of Lords, guests will be able to experience this important historical location typically reserved for appointed and hereditary peers and bishops.
Cecil Lovemore, SIA Event Supervisor was nominated by our events Head of Operations, Charles Tackie who said:
‘As one of our event supervisors, Cecil can be often found entertaining the crowds he is in front of, providing great customer service and a great atmosphere for anyone in his vicinity. Known for his infectious personality, Cecil can calm and entertain crowds with ease and I am proud to have him within my team. It is an honour to accompany Cecil at the anniversary reception in July where he will be celebrated by others outside of the business. Well done Cecil!’
Jamie McMullan from our Merseyrail contract was invited as a result of his life-saving efforts. Jeff Higham, Merseyrail Contract Manager commented:
‘Jamie is an outstanding individual who does not shy away from action. When he discovered danger, he acted without hesitation which stopped a potential fatality from occurring. Jamie is a pleasure to have on our team and I’m extremely proud of him for being invited as a result of his heroic actions which encapsulates our core value of caring passionately for all.’
