Carlisle Support Services is pleased to announce that Paul Evans, our Chief Executive Officer, has been appointed Chair of the newly established S12 Security Guarding Leadership Group. This landmark appointment reflects a united effort across the industry to raise standards, strengthen transparency, and ensure the sector speaks with one collective voice to government and regulators.
The S12 has been created to serve as a united voice for the security guarding industry and drive meaningful change, bringing together twelve elected members to represent the diversity of the UK security guarding industry ranging from large national providers to independent firms and trade associations.
The group’s mission is to drive measurable change, support professional development, and build greater trust through transparency, working collaboratively with the Security Minister, Home Office, and the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to help shape policy, raise professional standards, and strengthen public safety.
Speaking at the group’s first meeting with Security Minister, Dan Jarvis, at the International Security Expo 2025, Paul Evans emphasised the importance of inclusion and integrity in shaping the future of the industry:
“The strength of our industry lies in its people – those who work tirelessly to keep others safe. The S12 has been built to bring those voices together, to listen, and to action where it can make the greatest difference. We recognise this is a critical time for our industry and the sense of collaboration has never felt stronger.”
