We are delighted to announce that Carlisle Support Services’ 2025 Innovation Lab has been confirmed as a Carbon Neutral event by a trusted Sustainability Partner. As part of our ongoing commitment to addressing the climate crisis, we worked closely with Neutral Carbon Zone (NCZ) who managed the measurement and offsetting of the event’s emissions.
NCZ equipped Carlisle Support Services with the tools to accurately measure all Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions from the event and its operations, in accordance with ISO 14064. Pre and post-event data was provided to Neutral Carbon Zone to analyse and identify the amount of emissions generated by the event. Carlisle Support Services has been able to confirm the retirement of 27 Verified Emission Reductions (VERs). The event generated 26.13 tonnes of CO₂e and through NCZ has retired 27 Verified Emission Reductions (VERs). These credits were applied to the Bergres Wind Power Project, which has prevented 27 tonnes of CO2 emissions from being released into the atmosphere.
As well as supporting this year’s event journey to carbon neutrality, these figures will also serve as a baseline for future events, placing us in a strong position to establish targeted carbon reduction measures across the event’s supply chain that we can track year-on-year. We would like to thank Neutral Carbon Zone for their expertise and detailed support in helping us make this event more sustainable as it grows each year.
If you are interested in attending next year’s event, keep an eye on the Innovation Lab website for more details which will be released very shortly.
